Host families
Living with a local family is the fastest way to grow in confidence. Ours are carefully chosen, checked and matched to each student.
How we choose families
- Every family is vetted and fully checked
- We visit every home before a student arrives
- Families are matched to students by interests and by the children in the household
- Families are paid fairly, so that hosting is done properly
Before you arrive
We introduce the host family to you before the trip, so you can get in touch and your child can get to know them before arriving.
During the stay
- A packed lunch every day, and a cooked evening meal shared with the family
- At least two outings to places of interest with the family
- Help with the course work given to each student
- English practice every day in a warm, caring home
More than a place to stay
We want every student to go home with better English and lasting memories. Our host families make that happen, by welcoming students into everyday family life and making sure they practise English in a relaxed, caring environment.
